Spring Clinic

The Houston Junior Aeros Spring Development Clinics are a great opportunity for players to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and have fun on the ice with our Jr. Aeros coaches.

• Tues, March 17 (7:00am CST) - registration opens to all 2025-2026 Junior Aeros players ONLY.
• Thur, March 19 (7:00am CST) - registration opens to all other age-eligible players.



NOTE: ANY PLAYER WHO REGISTERS OUTSIDE OF THE PERMITTED REGISTRATION DATE WILL BE PUT ‘ON HOLD’ FOR 48 HOURS AND HIS/HER REGISTRATION WILL BE REACTIVATED AFTER 48 HOURS, SHOULD SPACE PERMIT.



Players must register in accordance with their USAH 2026-27 age division. No play-ups or play-downs will be permitted.

• 10U – 2016 & 2017 Birth Years
• 12U – 2014 & 2015 Birth Years
• 14U – 2012 & 2013 Birth Years
• 16U – 2010 & 2011 Birth Years
• 18U – 2008 & 2009 Birth Years (18U registration will also be open to all Junior Aeros 2025-26 season travel players born in 2007

In accordance with USAH/TAHA Mite ADM Policy, we will be unable to accept any 8U players (2018 birth year or younger).

*14U Skaters: All 2012 skaters will practice on Wednesdays from 7:40–8:55 p.m. All 2013 skaters will be assigned to a session at the discretion of the Coach-in-Chief, based on safety considerations. Families will be notified by email of their assigned session prior to the start of the clinics.

New: 10U-16U Goalies will only attend two total sessions per week - Sundays and Tuesdays (Goalie Clinic).

18U Goalies are encouraged to attend both the goalie clinic on Tuesdays and the skater clinic on Mondays.

All 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U clinic formats will include stations and small area games plus full-ice drills developing the following skills and more:

• Overspeed and agility skating
• Stickhandling, passing, and shooting
• Checking (14U/16U), angling, and battling
• Defense and creative offense
• 3 on 3 pond hockey 

18U clinic will be held on Mondays only and include high-quality ice time, focusing on age-appropriate development and instruction.

Dedicated goalie-specific sessions will be led by our team of goalie coaches who are all committed to the development of net-minders. 

These clinic sessions will offer hands-on goalie instruction by incorporating unique goalie coaching tools and techniques, while providing individual attention specific to the goalies' ages & skill levels.

Registration fees are due, in full, at the time of registration. Each registered participant will also receive a Houston Junior Aeros Spring Clinic jersey, which will be required to be worn at each clinic session.​​​​

Is there a waitlist?

If your age-specific clinic is sold out, you’re welcome to join the waitlist. Please note that cancellations are rare, so availability from the waitlist is not likely, but we will contact families immediately if a spot opens up.
