The Houston Junior Aeros are proud to announce our commitment to the Texas Hockey League (THL).
The THL is built on core principles developed by experienced hockey professionals, ensuring a player-first approach that prioritizes:
- Value - Provide value for teams and families
- Scheduling & Leveling - High quality schedule while prioritizing player development. When necessary, create an unbalanced and organized schedule that will have teams playing many of their games against competitive opponents. All while being mindful of where teams travel to ensure highly competitive games. A leveling process with possibility of upward or downward movement if it is right for the players.
- Development – A structured path to help players reach their full potential through cultivating and engaging the competitive love for the game.
- Competition – A league designed to provide high-caliber matchups, fostering growth and preparing players for the next level.
- Integrity & Sportsmanship – Promoting respect, teamwork, and accountability on and off the ice.
- Community & Growth – Strengthening the hockey community across Texas, creating a league that celebrates and benefits players, families, and organizations alike. Enhancing the hockey culture with an emphasis on communication, education, and community engagement.
