2024-25 Houston Junior Aeros Annual Meeting

The Houston Junior Aeros Hockey Association, Inc. will hold its 2024 Annual Meeting to review both highlights of last season and plans for the upcoming season and to elect the 2024-25 Board of Directors as follows:

The Annual Meeting will be open to Board members, General Members (including all players, parents, and non-parent coaches), and invited guests.

2024-25 TEAM COMMISSIONERS

The Team Commissioners, as listed herein, are selected by their respective teams to attend the Annual Meeting.

SLATE OF NOMINEES FOR ELECTED DIRECTORSHIP

Details of Board positions are set forth in the above-referenced Bylaws.
Clause 4.13 of the Bylaws will determine the order of elections.

We encourage each nominee to submit a short Statement of Qualification (not to exceed 200 words) providing:

some basic information about the nominee,
the nominee's qualifications or experience, and/or
reasons for wanting to serve on the Board.

That statement should be submitted to the President no later than Monday, September 30, 2024. Once received, each nominee's Statement of Qualification will be provided herein.

Where there are multiple nominees for an Elected Directorships, each team’s respective Team Commissioner -- whose role it is to represent each Team at the Annual Meeting -- will cast votes for the Elected Directorships on behalf of his/her Team. (See Section 2 of the Bylaws.) Please note the name of your Team Commissioner, as provided above, should you wish to discuss the voting process or particular nominees with your Team Commissioner prior to the Annual Meeting.

2024-25 Houston Junior Aeros Board Nominees

Pursuant to Section 4.06, "Nominations for Elected Directorships shall be submitted no later than ten (10) days following the distribution of the Notice of Annual Meeting". All such nominations must, therefore, be submitted on or before Thurs/Sept 19.

Pursuant to Section 4.09, the complete Slate of Nominees shall be posted "no later than seven (7) days prior to the Annual Meeting". The Slate of Nominees shall, therefore, be posted Mon/Sept 30.

Pursuant to Section 4.10, secondary nominations must be received "no more than forty-eight (48) hours following the distribution of the Slate of Nominees.
